February 2nd, 2006. This months edition is ALMOST on time, but likely because I didn't write it. That's right, I passed the buck to Eric of Dimes, no wait, Drastic, no wait, ummm yeah that Eric guy with the white truck that's bent in half cuz he dragged through the frame. That's the one. And if you don't know who he is, you probably at least know his girl. Anyways, enough of my ramblings. I'm on holidays. Who knows, maybe I won't come back and you'll be stuck with this guy.

Hey everyone, this is Eric filling in for Joel this time around as I wanted to give this column a try and also because I have a few things I'd like to say.

As most of you, being the minitrucker's of Winnipeg know, I am now a free agent so to say, meaning I am not a member of any clubs. My motive for this decision really has nothing to do with anyone personal or any group of people for that matter. I decided that I was totally sick of being the bad guy when it came to which group I chose to hang around with at the time. This was no way to enjoy my favorite hobby and it was getting to the point where it was affecting others besides myself.

This topic has been an on-going haven of controversy forever now and it is likely to never go away, but it always seems to intensify in the winter months. Everyone's attitudes seem to become as frigid as the air outside and there's always some sort of shit-storm churning on the local chat forums. So if we are all “minitruckers” why is there so much static going on within our community.
