2 years and still going strong?

Yes, this is a late edition. I haven't had much to write about this month except for this, which has been in the back of my mind for awhile. I think I figured out how to word it decently now, so lets give it a shot…

2 years ago, 4 of us put together the idea of starting a truck club. Myself never having been part of a club was all for it. Corey had just left his old club behind, and the idea of a minitruck and friendship based club worked for him as well. Dallas and Travis, having experienced some internal issues with New Beginnings in the ‘old days' which eventually led to the downfall of the club, were more reluctant. But after discussing it, we all agreed that a friendship based, exclusive and not so serious club COULD work. There would be no plaques, no president and no membership dues. Just a group of guys who would be hanging out and helping each other build some sick rides, whether we had a sticker on our back window or not. Once we decided to give it a go, Ash and Cam were quickly added to the roster, and even though they may not drive mini's, the lifestyle and friendships are all the same. And that was the idea from the start.
The first summer was awesome, with late night dragging and cruising any night of the week, helping bag travs truck, the Edmonton trip, cutting up the ashtro van, and all that good stuff, much of which continued right on through winter. Early this year, our first ‘new' member joined the club. Shane had been a long time friend of some of the club members and the rest of us knew him well enough that there would be no issues with him joining iLLconformity. Continued on the next page...
